Iverus Research Foundation is founded in the study of the local history, natural history and culture of Iverus (Ballysteen) area in West Limerick, Ireland. It records firstly the achievements of the people of that place and its surrounding baronies in a collection of biographical dictionaries. Essays on historical local landholdings and their gentry enlarge that picture.
The Shannon Estuary setting and county hinterland, and some eclectic connections from farther afield also, are celebrated in photographic features.
Illustrated arts and educational sections round out the content which is non-commercial throughout.
Iverus Research Foundation was established by Dr John M. Feheney, author of all the book-length studies herein, who continues as Director.
