Iverus Research Foundation was formed around the study of the local history, natural history and culture of Iverus (Ballysteen) area in West Limerick, Ireland. Its successor website is www.iverusresearch.com
The lives and achievements of the people of that area and its surrounding baronies are recorded in a collection of biographical dictionaries, and essays on historical local landholdings and their gentry enlarge the picture.
The Shannon Estuary setting and county hinterland, and some eclectic connections from farther afield also, are presented in photographic features.
Arts and educational sections extend the content, which is non-commercial throughout. Iverus Research Foundation was initiated by Dr John M. Feheney whose book-length studies appear here, and who continues as Director.
